Karl Abbott, a product manager at Element, is responsible for ensuring the enterprise-grade secure communications platform is easy to use in self-hosted and fully managed environments. Prior to joining Element, Karl gained extensive experience building and supporting enterprise software for a variety of industries at Red Hat. This experience led Karl to a deep appreciation for software security and user privacy. Karl was key in the effort to ensure Element's software would work in air-gapped environments and has been involved in helping to ensure the solution meets the needs of utility companies.
