April Morelock is the manager of cyber security operations at Midcontinent Independent System Operators (MISO). A cyber security professional for over ten years now, April started her career doing validation and technical writing for FDA CFR Part 11. With extensive experience monitoring and assessing companies for PCI, GLBA, FISMA, FISCAM and NERC CIP, April has develop a passion for Cyber Security and began working with MISO in 2012. Over the years, she has earned her Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). She now manages the Cyber Security Operations department at MISO.
